Aboriginal Action Community of Practice
Statement of Purpose
We are a Community of Practice of Neighbourhood Houses in the Central Highlands region of Victoria, committed to fostering culturally safe environments for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We recognise the importance of cultural identity, self-determination, and historical truth-telling, and we are dedicated to creating spaces where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples feel heard, valued, and safe.
Our Purpose is to learn together, share insights, and strengthen our collective capacity to engage with First Nations communities in ways that are respectful, inclusive, and empowering.
